Anyhow, here's my contributions to PFF, Enjoy!

1912, imagine that a lot of ladies were named Edna back then, not so much now!

  2. It's addressed to Mamie, and signed Elizabeth...guess Edna is a nick name for one of them? I've got a couple of Ednas in my family, and even worked with a Mamie once! Happy PFF!

  7. I know an Edna. Have you noticed how the old names are beginning to make a resurgence? I know lots of little Grace, and Gracies, Lillian and Lilys, Henry, Hank etc... In my youth everyone was Cathy, Linda, Susan, Carol and so on.

  8. I've often remarked on how names go in and out of fashion, and Edna is one of them.

  9. I've never met a little girl named "mary". I wonder if my name will be like Edna to younger people in 30 years?

  10. When I found that postcard, I had to have it. I have never met an Edna, so it was quite exciting, because that is my first given name. My parents from birth called me Vivi, so it wasn't until I came to Canada at age 10 that anyone started calling me by that name, I never really answered or responded to it and eventually I got to use my middle name. Viviana was my great grandmother's name, which I think is way better suited to me, Edna is definitely not me, a name which I never really liked...I thought it sounded harsh and old.
Cheers and thanks for stopping by everyone!
