I though I was busy last month???

OK, so I have to apologize for falling behind on my posts, I already know I've bitten more than I can chew, but hey...I haven't choked yet! This month is flying by, but not because time flies, but because nearly every day is full of many things to get done, the world doesn't stop for me, so I guess I won't stop for it either. A fine example of this is the week that just went by. Last Tuesday, was St. Patrick's Day, so ofcourse when you run a day care, you must celebrate.....then my Mom was coming in on Wednesday evening, but we also had music school.... then on Thursday it was my son's birthday, so we had a mini birthday with all the dayhome kids, then dinner with my Mom, her husband, my brothers and my son's dad at Boston Pizza....Friday, I had the kids until 5:45 then David had TaekwanDo at 6:15, we came home and I had to bake the cupcakes for his real party. Saturday I woke up at 6:30 and decorated the UFO cake, we had to go get Timbits for his alien cupcakes, picked up Sushi, went to Dance class and we had to set up the Sand Magic Creations sand racks (see my other blog!!!), then we had the party and afterwards, headed over to my brothers house for dinner with the family and board games ..... I dropped exhausted into bed at 10 pm and woke up at 8:30 the next day. I've still not recovered.... So, yes, I'm getting on doing my tutorial, I'm just moving a little slower this week. Thank for reading my blog.
Cheers,
Viviana

Suggestions.....

So I am planning on a tutorial on adhesives, this came about from a question from My3LittleMonkeys, she wanted to know about them. It made me realize that I never really asked people, but eventually discovered a whole array of adhesives, so work well for some things and other don't, so she gave me the idea. Anyhow, I am working on it and will post it on Sunday.
Right now though, I'm wondering if anyone else has suggestions on other things and topics they would love to learn about, scrapbook wise, or even about other stuff, we have lots of other bloggers that can help us answer things we may not know ourselves. If I can find the answer for you I will post it here.
So on to my plan, if anyone is really curious about learning how to do something, weather it was seen in my store, or you just know other scrappers do it, leave me a comment. I will get on making a list of topics to blog about. We are here to help each other, and I want to be part of that!
I look forward to reading your suggestion!!!
Cheers,
Viviana

My First BLOG Giveaway!

I'm hosting my first giveaway ever!! Yay! Being fairly new at this, I thought I'd keep it fairly simple. I'm giving away a set of 3 of my handmade cards pictured above, this is open to anyone anywhere (yes even Timbukto, if that is how it's spelled), all you need to do is follow my blog and leave me a comment on why you like the cards. Simple? I will assign everyone a number and next Sunday the 8th of March, I will have my son pull the winner out of a hat. Good Luck everyone!!

I make my cards one at a time and each one is unique. I can recreate similar cards but I never make the same one twice. This set is made from Heidi Swapp patterned papers and HS black rhinestones, Inkadinkado Stamps and heat embossing. I'm not sure if you can see it, but the embossing is sparkly, I used marcasite and blue tinself embossing powders. I also used foam mounting tape to get a bit of dimension, and the base for the cards is embossed. These cards are 5.5x5.5", and are blank inside.

So come on and follow me and don't forget to check out my etsy store and add my twitter!!
